South Middle School (SMS) is a middle school in Morgantown, WV that opened in 1980 and originally was grades 7-9 and was called South Junior High but now has grades 6-8 and goes by South Middle School.The school mascot is the stallion, and the school colors are maroon and white.
The school replaced the much older Morgantown Junior High.
